Saved from property development by our passionate volunteers in 1995, Gorse Millennium Green has become the green heart of our New Brighton community.
Open seven days a week, you are warmly invited to explore the Gorse, your peaceful sanctuary of native trees and shrubs, managed woodland and wild areas where nature is encountered first hand. For our latest news and events, join us on Facebook! |

Can you help to grow the Gorse? The flourishing of our beautiful Millennium Green has been made possibly by the generous donations of our local community - the Friends of the Gorse. We are currently undertaking a comprehensive wildlife inventory of the green that will help us to manage the Gorse in the future. We have already eliminated the invasive Japanese Knotweed and Russian Vine from the site and we plan to control the non-native Sycamore to allow our more attractive plants space to flourish. We are also planning to improve the paths in autumn 2018 to provide easier access to the wilder, deep Gorse. Small, monthly donations from our community will enable these plans to be implemented this year and we would love to invite your support! It's simple to make your pledge - you can choose the amount you wish to gift each month from the drop-down menu below. Even a tiny amount will be transformative. Thank you for your generosity!
